In the rush and clutter of our daily lives, many of us have forgotten our cooking and cultural heritage. At Chapman's Landing Cooking Studio, we embrace the slow foods movement - a traditional way of food preparation and dining using in season high quality fresh produce and herbs.

Our focus is on helping you learn to cook and enjoy fresh, festive and nourishing food! We borrow from historical recipes and exciting new trends to offer you fresh and inspiring food ideas. But our classes are about more than just recipes. You will learn historical lore, medicinal qualities of food, nutrition tips, and traditional and ethnic cooking styles to add variety and interest to your meals.

Fresh Local Ingredients

We select the freshest ingredients from the seasonal harvest of wild and local foods. Items come straight from our own farm and from local farms that use natural food production methods. We also use organic foods as they are available to us in this part of the country.

Hands-on Learning

Sometimes it is not about being on a diet or a strict regimen - you need to learn new skills to rejuvenate yourself and create your own healthy lifestyle.
