Ash
Creek Pottery
A Northeastern Ontario Tradition Since 1978. A deer-filled meadow
and lively duck pond provide the perfect setting for Pat Stamp's
distinctive repertoire of pottery for home and garden. Her work
is displayed in the lovingly converted horse-barn that adjoins
her busy kiln shed or sheltered under the pergola that wraps
around her garden. Becker's
Berry Patch
Becker's Berry Patch is a family operated pick-your-own strawberry
farm nestled beside the South River in the village of Nipissing,
Ontario. We invite you to visit us during our picking season
to enjoy the wonderful outdoors, and the beautiful scenery along
the south shore of Lake Nipissing. Board's
Honey Farm
As beekeepers in the region for over 30 years, Stefan and Ann
have gathered a wealth of knowledge about bees and country life,
and have created an amazing collection of beehive products for
health, home, beauty, and good eating. Their shop includes all
the products they make as well as ice cream, fudge, breads,
desserts, (all made with honey), honey and bee crafts, books,
and novelties.
Commanda
Country Gardens
Jim and Judy Merrick established a nursery on the farm of Judy's
great grandfather, who first cleared the land in the early 1880's.
They have continued this pioneering spirit by founding their
nursery in the middle of a mixed hardwood forest. Perennial
plants from around the world are grown and tested in a variety
of display gardens. All potted plants are grown from their own
collected seed, cuttings, and divisions. Plants are guaranteed
to be winter hardy.
Edna Scott Art Studio
A passion for horses led Edna to design the entire collection
of mounts featured on North Bay's famed Heritage Carousel. Fashioned
after early 20th century models, these brilliant steeds are
now available in Edna's limited edition prints, variously sized
and complete with gold overlays and jewels. Edna also delights
in portraying the wildlife that grace her grounds on the shores
of Lake Nipissing. Water colours of birds, flowers from her
luxuriant gardens and small furry visitors are all painted with
fine details and a delicate touch.
