Chapman's Landing Cooking Studio - Class Outline Back

100 Mile Diet of SLOW Foods - Private Function
Description:
This fun class will inspire you to expand your summer garden and learn to collect some of the local wild edibles. I will share tips on how to grow and use favourite vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Learn to use some of the lesser known edibles such as Borage, Dandelion, Lovage, Sorrel and Sweet Cicely and wild flowers. Review the guidelines on safe foraging and collect and taste some of the "free" and nutritious foods growing around the farm. Class includes techniques for making natural fruit and tea beverages, preserving herbs and using the food dehydrator. We will snack and sample along the way and finish with a delicious garden & wild supper! My new phone number is 705-493-3106.
